Lead Water Pipe Replacement – Galley Ave, Toronto, M6R 1G9

Today we replaced 1/2” lead main water service pipe with new 3/4” type “k” in Toronto. Lead pipes were preferred over iron/galvanized pipes because they could last longer and were flexible (“soft”). Later on it was only realized the health risks of lead contamination.
